Shahwani sees conspiracy to disrupt uplift process

QUETTA: Liaquat Shahwani, Spokesperson for provincial government, has said that the incumbent provincial government under the leadership of Chief Minister, Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan, was striving under a well-planned strategy for the progress and development of the people of Balochistan.

In a statement issued here on Friday, he said that work on short, mid and long term development projects, which was being monitored by Chief Minister Balochistan, was in full swing. He said that several mega development projects initiated for uplifting Gwadar area of Balochistan province were being executed through a well-planned strategy.

He said that three years of the provincial government had been completed and the performance of those three years of the provincial government was known to all and sundry. He said, “In this regard we do not claim hollow claims rather our development projects were based on ground realities which will soon bring the province at par with other provinces of the country.”

He said it had been vowed to eradicate backwardness of the province, adding that developed Balochistan was the foremost priority of the incumbent provincial government. He said that a conspiracy had been hatched to disrupt development process through the acts of terrorism which would be foiled by the provincial government. He said that maintenance of law and order situation was prerequisite for the continuation of development process in the province. He said those responsible for carrying out the acts of terrorism in the province would be dealt with an iron hand.
