KARACHI:Shahzaib Trunkwala, who is the CEO of World Group, which owns Leisure Leagues franchise, has congratulated Gilgit-Baltistan for its victory against Karachi in a football game played in Hunza.

“The small-sided exhibition match was arranged to mark Leisure Leagues presence in every corner of the country,” said Shahzaib Trunkwala, who is also the Vice President of International Socca Federation (ISF). “It will also mark resumption of our events post pandemic.”

Leisure Leagues organizes small-sided football games especially six-a-side matches, which are played on smaller pitches. Leisure Leagues Pakistan has twice sent top Pakistan football clubs to represent the country in Socca World Cup in 2018 and 2019.

In the match played in the scenic Hunza Valley, Mohsin and Saif scored one goal each for Gilgit-Baltistan. Farhan scored one for the visiting side.
