SHC extends interim bail to former DC Sujawal in land allotment case

KARACHI:The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday extended the interim bail of an accused former deputy commissioner Sujawal Sohail Akhtar Pathan in a case pertaining to the illegal allotment of the government land in Sujawal.

A SHC bench heard the interim bail plea filed by the accused Agha Sohail Akhtar Pathan who appeared before the court. During the hearing, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor stated that the accused was suspected of illegally allotting government land in Sujawal. He sought more time to submit a progress report. The court sought progress report from NAB for the next hearing.

The court extended the interim bail of Agha Sohail Akhtar Pathan till January 28 and further hearing of the petition was adjourned till January 28. Agha Sohail Akhtar Pathan has also remained as Chairman Sindh Text Book Board.
