Karachi:Sindh High Court (SHC) here Monday rejected the sugar inquiry commission and its inquiry report and instructed the FIA, NAB and other institutions to start independent probe into the sugar scam.
A SHC bench comprising Justice K K Agha and Justice Umar Siyal had reserved verdict on the application of the sugar mills owners. The court ordered the NAB, FIA and other institutions to start an independent probe as per law.
