SHIKARPUR: Like other parts of the province, a complete lockdown was observed in Shikarpur on Thursday.
Following the orders by Sindh government, the District Administration and Shikarpur Police visited many cities of district Shikarpur. All business and social activities remained standstill.
Army Jawans, Rangers and police personnel seemed patrolling on roads. The shops, hotels, bazaars and markets were closed and the people of Shikarpur also remained at their homes.
Meanwhile, the weather became very pleasant when rainfall occurred in Shikarpur and its surrounding areas. After the shower in Shikarpur and its localities, the pleasant weather compelled the citizens to enjoy and breath the sigh of relief in these panicked days of lockdown.
