Shutdown in Tral on 4th martyrdom anniversary of Abid Khan

Srinagar, January 27, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown was observed in Tral town, today, to mark the fourth martyrdom anniversary of noted freedom activist, Abid Khan. All shops and other business establishments were shut in the town while transport was off the road.

Abid Khan alias Hamza, a resident of Handoora village of Tral, was martyred along with his associate, Sheraz Ahmed Dar, by the troops during a cordon and search operation in his native area on January 27 in 2015.
