Significant Increase in Gold Prices

Gold prices witnessed a significant increase on Friday, with the price of one tola of 24-karat gold rising by Rs 2,300 to Rs 357,000. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs 1,971, closing at Rs 306,069. The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also saw an increase of Rs 1,807, reaching Rs 280,573.

Globally, gold prices also showed an upward trend, with the price of gold in the international market closing at $3,345 per ounce, up by $21.

Silver followed suit, with the price of one tola of 24-karat silver increasing by Rs 86 to Rs 3,937. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat silver increased by Rs 74, closing at Rs 3,375. In the international market, the price of silver also increased by $0.86, closing at $37.53 per ounce.

These figures were released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.
