‘Sikhs for Justice’ supports secession of Punjab from India

Islamabad, October 28, 2021 (PPI-OT):The Sikhs for Justice, a US-based organization, supports the secession of Punjab from India for the creation of Khalistan. A report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, said that the Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) has released a new map of India showing not just Punjab but Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and several districts of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh as part of Khalistan.

The US-based organization has been fighting a long peaceful legal battle against the Indian government and its politicians involved in the massacre of Sikhs in 1984, and has also started a campaign for the secession of Punjab state from India.

The report said, Sikhs have been facing organized persecution and continuous exploitation at the hands of successive Indian governments, adding Indian army’s Operation Blue Star was an official beginning of a systematic purge of the Sikh community in India. It said the continuous persecution of Sikhs in India has compelled them to strive for Khalistan. The report maintained that the Khalistan movement in itself is a big question mark on the so-called secular face of India, adding, separate homeland for the Sikhs in the name of Khalistan is writing on the wall.
