KARACHI: The Sindh government education department on Saturday announced an annual increment in the salaries of those contract teachers recruited for three years including early child teachers and junior school teachers, according to information on Saturday.

The provincial education department wrote a letter to Auditor General Sindh in this regard. The education department clarified only those teachers would be provided annual increments to those recruited in 2018 and 2019. “The annual increment is part of the recruitment policy of teachers,” the school education department said.
