Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah met today with renowned Pakistani boxer Usman Wazir at the Chief Minister’s House, where he announced that the Sindh government would support Usman Wazir in participating in the World Open competition, which will enhance his global ranking. Usman Wazir is a welterweight boxer, and his 16th consecutive victory is a source of pride for the nation.
The meeting was also attended by Sports Minister Mohammad Bux Mahar, MPA Asif Musa, and Secretary to CM Rahim Sheikh. Usman Wazir recently defeated Indian boxer Eshwaran in the first round in Bangkok, which the Chief Minister termed as Pakistan’s first major victory against India’s war frenzy.
At the CM House, the Chief Minister announced financial assistance and top-notch training for Usman Wazir. He instructed the Sports Minister to ensure that Usman Wazir receives the best training possible so that he can make Pakistan proud at the international level.
Usman Wazir presented his victory boxing gloves to the Chief Minister, who expressed his happiness by wearing the gloves and performing a “punch action.” The Chief Minister expressed joy over Usman Wazir’s hard work and success and stated that the Sindh government would help him become the best boxer.
