The Sindh Food Authority (SFA) District Kemari team conducted inspections of milk and meat shops as well as food centers across the Metrovil Site and Baldia areas.

This initiative, directed by the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Sindh on Food, Abdul Jabbar Khan, and the Director General of SFA, Asif Ali Jan Siddiqui, was supervised by Deputy Director Kemari Muhammad Bashir Khan. Also present were Deputy Commissioner Kemari Raja Tariq Chandio and Assistant Commissioners Nada Saman and Murkh Gul.

The SFA team made unannounced visits to a variety of establishments, including milk, spice, meat shops, restaurants, and general stores. They issued improvement notices to several food centers due to poor sanitation conditions and discarded expired food items on the spot. Fines were also imposed on multiple establishments for violations.

During the operation, Muhammad Bashir Khan emphasized that the sale of substandard food items would not be tolerated. He urged individuals involved with food centers to adhere strictly to the regulations set by the Sindh Food Authority, warning that noncompliance would result in legal penalties.
