A ninemember delegation from TehreekeNafazeFiqheJafaria Sindh, led by Allama Syed Ali Irfan Abidi, met with Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori at the Governor House, where they discussed community concerns and proposals.

The meeting also served as a congratulatory gesture towards the Governor for his recent pilgrimage to Iraq. Tessori emphasized the importance of intersectarian harmony and committed to governance that includes all sects. He assured that the Governor House remains open to people from all schools of thought.

Highlighting social initiatives, Tessori noted that over 50,000 youth are receiving IT training at the Governor House, with one million ration bags distributed to the needy. He mentioned the “Umeed Ki Ghanti” initiative, which has helped thousands, and reported that 1.2 million people have participated in Iftar and dinner programs at the Governor House over the past three years. He pledged to address the delegation”s concerns with appropriate measures.

In a separate statement, Governor Tessori condemned the terrorist attack on a school bus in Khuzdar, Balochistan, which claimed the lives of three children. He expressed deep sympathy for the affected families and labeled the attack a cowardly act. Tessori assured that the nation remains united in its resolve to eliminate terrorism.
