New Zealand High Commissioner Hamish MacMaster called on Sindh Governor Imran Ismail in Karachi on Thursday.
The Governor apprised the High Commissioner of deteriorating human rights situation in Indian occupied Kashmir.
He said there has been an alarming increase in the incidents of torture and rapes in the occupied valley by Indian forces.
The New Zealand High Commissioner, indicating strong support to Pakistan’s stance, said it is important to resolve the Kashmir issue according to UN resolutions for ensuring peace in the region.
