Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori today described Jan 8 as a revolutionary day for the medical field in Pakistan.
In a statement, he congratulated Aga Khan University for this remarkable initiative and welcomed the development of comprehensive manual clinical practice guidelines in collaboration with the university.
He expressed these views at the Aga Khan University event, where the chief guest was Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Finance Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb, along with other federal ministers and senior officials, also attended.
Tessori added that the mobile application developed as part of this initiative would be immensely beneficial for both public and private medical institutions across the country. This application will ensure standardized and effective patient care practices, says the governor.
He further noted that the guidelines provide the best approaches for diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, improving treatment efficacy, and reducing the likelihood of errors. Tessori emphasized that the guidelines would need to be updated periodically to stay in line with the latest medical research and practices.
Meanwhile, Tessori stated that today, the Pakistan Stock Exchange had reached its highest-ever level in history. He further expressed optimism that the Prime Minister’s visit would further enhance the positive trend at the stock exchange.
He shared these thoughts during his speech at a Pakistan Stock Exchange event. The event was graced by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif as the chief guest, with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Finance Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb, and other distinguished officials also in attendance.
