Sindh Governor receives medical aid supply from China

KARACHI:Sindh Governor Imran Ismail on Friday received medical supplies from China at Karachi Airport on behalf of the federal government. The medical equipment and material includes 56,000 coronavirus testing kits.

Speaking on this occasion, the governor said that China had been supporting Pakistan in every difficult time. “Even today, our friend is helping us in difficult times, which is a clear manifestation of Pak-China friendship,” he said. Ismail added that China would soon provide more medical aid supply and the availability of kits would facilitate virus testing and that cooperation with China would improve the situation.

He said that the Prime Minister was himself monitoring the coronavirus situation and in this regard, the authorities are also aware of the current situation. The governor appealed to the public to stay homes in order to support the government efforts to control coronavirus.
