Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori has announced that this Ramadan, the largest-ever “Ittihad Ramzan” banquet will be arranged, where one million people will break their fast. The families of martyrs will be the guests of honor at the event.

According to a statement by the Sindh Governor House today, speaking at a press conference at the Governor House, Mr Tessori said revealed that valuable prizes, including Umrah tickets, residential plots, and laptops, amounting to millions of rupees, will be distributed through a lucky draw. He invited people from across the province to come and break their fast at the Governor House.

He further disclosed that a grand stage will be set up at Governor House for special Ramadan programs, with scholars and reciters from 15 countries participating in Qur’an recitation and Naat sessions. Special Taraweeh prayers will be led by an esteemed religious scholar from Madinah Sharif, while Naat, Qawwali, and Zikr gatherings will also be held.

The Sindh governor urged parents to register their children at Governor House for a special table where kids observing their first fast will break it alongside him. He also encouraged lawmakers from Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan to set up communal iftar banquets in their respective constituencies.

He emphasized that this initiative will help promote a positive image of Pakistan globally during Ramadan. Governor Sindh expressed his desire to spread love and unity among the people. In response to a question, he directed the IG Sindh and DIG Traffic to take immediate action to curb deadly dumper accidents in Karachi.
