Sindh govt not against any Tableegi Jamaat: Advisor

KARACHI:Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar said Sunday that Sindh government was not against any Tableegi or religious party.

“Due to coronavirus situation, we need cooperation of all segments of the society to stop the spread of coronavirus. All are supposed to cooperate in this regard,” he said while talking to a delegation of Tableegi Jamaat Tando Muhammad Khan, led by Hafiz Imran Qureshi and Hafiz Abdul Rehman, here at SSP Office TM Khan.

On this occasion, General Secretary Khurram Karim Soomro was also present. He assured the members of the delegation that their genuine problems would be addressed and those members of Tableegi Jamaat, who were in Quarantine, were our guests and their all needs would be meted out on priority basis. He requested them to cooperate with Sindh government on coronavirus issue as unitedly we could come out the situation successfully.

Qamar held a meeting at Deputy Commerce Office TM Khan. Local administration officers including Assistant Commissioners and Mukhtiarkars also attended the meeting. In the meeting, a strategy was made how to distribute free ration bags in Wards of Tando Muhammad Khan. Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar directed them to work out on a comprehensive plan for the purpose to distribute ration to needy families as per directives of Sindh Good.
