On the occasion of World Kidney Day, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in a statement today emphasized the importance of adopting preventive measures to avoid kidney diseases.
The Chief Minister stated that the Sindh government is taking all possible steps for the treatment of kidney patients. He mentioned that after the SIUT in Karachi, a new center equipped with modern facilities has been established in Sukkur, allowing kidney patients to receive treatment in their own city.
He further added that the network of free dialysis centers is being expanded to benefit more patients. Syed Murad Ali Shah said that timely diagnosis of kidney diseases can prevent complications.
The Chief Minister urged the adoption of a healthy lifestyle, drinking more water, and taking measures to protect the kidneys. He stated that it is our responsibility to raise public awareness on World Kidney Day to prevent kidney diseases.
