KARACHI: On the recommendation of the Sindh Minimum Wages Board, the Government of Sindh has notified Rs25,000 per month minimum rates of wages of the unskilled workers of the province of Sindh, which will be applicable with effect from 1st June 2022.

Under the provision of the Sindh Minimum Wages Act, 2015, every employer is bound to pay the minimum wages of Rs25,000 per month to the unskilled workers. Through this publication, it is directed to all the employers of the province of Sindh to highlight / display the confirmation statement regarding the payment of minimum wages of Rs25,000 per month to their unskilled workers at outside their establishments / factory premises by a reasonable size of banner or board, for the knowledge of the workers.
