Karachi:The teams of Sindh Super League Football Lyari Fighters and Larkana Leopards reached the final at the People’s Football Stadium Lyari under the auspices of Sindh Sports and Youth Affairs Department.

According to a statement on Thursday, the first semi-final was played between Larkana Leopard and Hyderabad Tigers in which neither team could score a goal in the stipulated time. Larkana Leopard defeated Hyderabad Tigers by 4-3 on plenty kick and qualified for the final.

The second semi-final was played between Lyari Fighters and Korangi Challengers in which both the teams played brilliantly and both the teams scored 2-2 goals till the stipulated time but Lyari Fighters defeated Korangi Challengers by 5-4 on penalty kicks and reached for final. Lyari Fighters and Larkana Leopard will play in the final on Friday at 3:30pm.

On the occasion, former senator Yousuf Baloch, franchise owner of Lyari Fighters, congratulated both the teams for their excellent performance and said that winning the match is part of the game and congratulated his players on winning the semi-final. We hope the Lyari Fighters team would win the final,” he added.
