HARIPUR: A passenger bus fell into a deep ditch in Sarbrot area of Khanpur, rescue officials said on Tuesday.

The Rescue 1122 officials said six people died and 15 others were seriously injured in the tragic incident. The death toll feared to rise. The identity of deceased and injured could not be ascertained. There was hue and cry soon after the accident, local people told media.

The eyewitness said the passenger bus was going from hilly area to Rawalpindi, carrying children and women. The police could not file the case till filing this report. However, investigation into the accident has been started by the authorities.
