QUETTA: Six members of a family, including women and children, were killed in a gas leakage explosion in Satellite Town area of Quetta on Sunday.
According to rescue sources, the explosion occurred due to gas leakage at a house in Satellite Town area of the metropolis, killing six members of a family, including women and children. The deceased were shifted to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities. The local police rushed to the scene on information and started a probe into the incident.
Earlier, two people were injured in a gas leakage blast in Islamabad’s Sector F8-2. Both the injured were house servants. The explosion also caused damage to the house. One of the injured was given treatment on the spot while the other was rushed to the Burns Unit of PIMS Hospital. Margalla Police Station personnel rushed to the site and launched an investigation into the incident.
