UTHAL:Uthal police in different operations seized large quantity of betel nuts and smuggled cooking oil. Two persons were also arrested.
According to Station House Officer (SHO), Police Station Uthal, Yar Muhammad Commando, one person was arrested after seizing two thousand kilograms of betel nuts packed in 100 bags from passenger coaster going to Karachi from Uthal.
In another action, during search of a Karachi-bound van coming from Bela, huge quantity of smuggled Iranian cooking oil were seized. One person was also arrested. The recovered items and arrested persons were handed to Customs Gadani for taking further necessary action.
