Top regulatory bodies, industry professionals, and academic specialists from South Asia convened to address the framework for a unified digital landscape across the region, according to a statement from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
According to a statement released by the PTA on X (formerly Twitter), the gathering was part of the 26th South Asian Telecommunication Regulators’ Council (SATRC-26) meeting.
Hosted in Pakistan by the PTA, the conference was held under the patronage of the Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT), an intergovernmental organization for telecommunications.
The event brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including key decision-makers from national regulatory authorities and leading experts from the telecommunications sector.
The primary objectives outlined for the summit were the dissemination of best practices and the reinforcement of cooperative efforts among member nations.
