Bologna, August 17, 2020 (PPI-OT): The speakers at a Kashmir rally in Bologna, Italy, highlighted Indian state terrorism in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Tehreek-e-Kashmir, Italy, in collaboration with Pak Kashmir Foundation held the Kashmir Rally in Bologna, Italy.

The President of Tehreek-e-Kashmir, UK, Fahim Kayani in his address said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his companions, Amit shah and Ajit Doval introduced punitive, harsh and illegal laws in IOJK after 5th August last year.

He added that Kashmiris living across the world observed Indian independence as Black Day and told the world that India had no right to celebrate its independence by usurping the birth right of Kashmiris. “It’s high time the world powers must step in and put pressure on India to leave Kashmir and start the process of plebiscite as per UN Resolutions.” Kayani added.

President of TeK, Italy, Mehmood Sharif said Kashmiris’ demand is that of freedom, adding that Kashmiris sacrifice would never go waste and Tehreek-e-Kashmir would keep the cause alive in Europe. Pakistanis and Kashmiris by observing Indian Independence Day as Black Day showed the world that India is the usurper of Kashmiris’ rights, their freedom and lives, he added.

Former President of TeK, Italy, Tanveer Kadhar urged the EU, UN and other world powers to help resolve Kashmir dispute as soon as possible. Kashmir has become a nuclear flashpoint and for the peace and Kashmir solution is imperative for stability of South Asia.

The President of Pakistan Kashmir Federation, Italy, Shezad Sahi said that during the past year India unleashed atrocities on the besieged people of Kashmir, killed educated youth in fake encounters, demolished houses and molested women during search operations. Pakistani community leader, Mustansir Warrich asserted that the world must stop double standard and put pressure on India to abide by International law and UN resolutions and resolve the Kashmir dispute.

Khalil Butt, former senior vice president of Tehreek-e-Kashmir, Europe, said it is high time for the resolution of Kashmir dispute as per the aspirations of Kashmiris. Kashmiri and Pakistani diaspora in Europe has showed the world that Kashmiris are not alone and will defend Kashmir cause at every forum, he added. Thousands of Kashmiri and Pakistanis from all walks of life joined the rally, chanted slogans against Modi and Indian oppression in IOJK.
