The Islamabad Police on Wednesday held a high-level meeting on crime prevention under the chairmanship of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Muhammad Shoaib Khan.
The meeting was attended by the additional Station House Officers (SHOs) from across the district. During the session, SSP Shoaib Khan issued firm directives to intensify efforts against criminal elements.
He emphasized the need to ensure the arrest of wanted criminals involved in serious offenses, including habitual offenders and those with previous criminal records.
The SSP ordered a targeted crackdown against active gangs involved in motorcycle theft and stressed the importance of enhancing patrolling in the city. He instructed officers to be visibly present in the field to boost police visibility and public confidence.
Shoaib Khan directed law enforcement personnel to take strict action against individuals involved in illegal weapons possession, public display of arms, and drug trafficking.
He underscored that all available resources must be utilized to effectively combat crime across the capital.
‘Protection of citizens’ lives and property is the top priority of Islamabad Police,’ said SSP Operations Muhammad Shoaib Khan, reaffirming the department’s commitment to maintaining law and order in the federal capital.
