SSU Commandos Representing Pakistan Participated in 2nd World Police Service Pistol Shooting Championship 2018 Guangdong, China

Karachi, November 19, 2018 (PPI-OT): Special Security Unit Sindh Police Commandos Arsalan Anwar, Abdul Shakoor and Abdullah Khan representing Pakistan got 22nd, 49th and 79th position at the 2nd World Police Service Pistol Shooting Championship 2018 held in Guangdong, China. Team Pakistan secured 17th position in overall team rankings in the competition.

250 shooters representing 73 countries participated in this competition. Team Pakistan finalized after trials conducted by DG Pakistan Police Sports Board comprised of, Team leader PI Choudhry Shabbir from Sindh Police, Coach SI Sami ullah Niazi from Punjab Police, Staff PI Mehmood Ahmad from Punjab Police and shooters ASI Faisal from Punjab Police, PC Arsalan Anwer, PC Abdul Shakoor Abdullah and PC Abdullah Khan from SSU, Sindh Police.

DIGP Operations Maqsood Ahmed extended his heartiest congratulations for the successful participation in the 2nd World Police Service Pistol Shooting Championship 2018. The Commandant SSU Ghulam Murtaza Tabassum said that SSU is paying maximum attention for providing advanced professional police training to Commandos in addition to facilities being provided to encourage active participation in the healthy sports activities.
