State Bank of Pakistan reserves increase by US$ 261 million

Karachi, January 07, 2021 (PPI-OT): State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said in a statement on Thursday that total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$ 20,512.1 million on 31-December-2020.

The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under: Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan are US$13,412.3 million; Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks are US$7,099.8 million; and the total liquid foreign reserves are US$ 20,512.1 million.

During the week ended 31-December-2020, SBP reserves increased by US$ 261 million to US$ 13,412.3 million, due to GoP official inflows.
