Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has said that measures are being taken for trials for 5G and digitalization of the country.
Addressing the ceremony of a private Cellular company in Islamabad, he said with the advent of mobile internet, Pakistan is on the same route of development as that of neighboring countries.
He said telecom sector has contributed a lot in leveraging unlimited connectivity and bringing fast mobile internet to the country.
He said the government will continue to support the development of an investor-friendly business environment in the country.
