Steps being taken to improve law and order situation: Balochistan CS

QUETTA:Chief Secretary Balochistan, Mather Niaz Rana has said that it was the first and foremost responsibility of the government to protect lives and properties of people.

Steps are being taken to improve law and order situation in the province, he said while presiding over a joint meeting of Balochistan’s police and Levies Force held here on Wednesday. The meeting reviewed measures adopted for maintaining law and order situation in the province, especially in Quetta.

Earlier, a threadbare briefing with regard to law and order situation was given to Mather Niaz Rana. The meeting was attended by Hafiz Abdul Basit, Additional Chief Secretary Home and Tribal Affairs Department, Inspector General of Police, Director General, Balochistan Levies Force and other relevant authorities.
