A student was killed in a road accident near Thatta on Wednesday.

According to a report, the incident took place when the car struck the motorcycle of a student from the private TCF school. The student, identified as Waris Samo, aged around 13, a resident of Goth Yusuf Samo, suffered severe injuries. He was rushed to the Makli Civil Hospital for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.

The driver of the car, however, managed to escape with the vehicle. The news of Waris Samo’s death deeply shocked his family and the local community, creating an atmosphere of grief and mourning as his body was brought back to his village. The police have started an investigating into the incident and efforts to locate the driver were underway
