KARACHI:Divisional Commercial Officer (DCO),Karachi, Nasir Nazeer on Monday seized sub-standard water bottles and cigarettes during surprise visit to different stalls at Karachi Cantt Station.
DCO Karachi Division Nasir Nazeer said that surprise inspections were prime component of the drive, initiated few months back, against sale of low-quality materials at different stations of the division. He added that health of passengers was amongst the division’s top priorities and it could not be compromised at all.
“Strict actions, including monetary penalty, will be imposed on vendors if this malpractice continues in future,” remarked Nazeer.
