Under the Green Pakistan Program, the area of trees planted on 100 acres in Suka Sarai, Hattian Division in Azad Kashmir during 2019-20 has successfully transformed into a thriving forest. The forest now boasts dense growth of pine, deodar, kail, fir, eucalyptus, and acacia trees.
Recently, under the leadership of the headmistress of Government Middle School Sarai, female students conducted an educational and recreational visit to this area. The headmistress informed the students about the importance of trees and expressed joy over the success of the plantation.
Inspired by the successful plantation, the students resolved to plant trees at their homes to improve the environment. This visit was not only educational for the students but also served as a positive effort to raise environmental awareness.
