ISLAMABAD:The Utility Stores Corporation outlets across the country have slashed sugar and flour prices on the orders of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif as part of the Ramazan package, according to a report on Wednesday.
The sugar was now being sold at Rs70 per kg down from Rs85 per kg. However, the utility stores have made it mandatory for the buyers to show CNIC to get the government subsidized commodities.
