Syed Nasir Hussain Shah addressing International Conference on Computer and Information Science 2018 at PAF KIET

Karachi, March 26, 2018 (PPI-OT): Provincial Minister for Information, Labour Human Resources, Transport and Mass Transit Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has said that the research process is usefull in various fields and applicable to a variety of situations. The research process assists in developing better organizational and planning skills while simultaneously increases insight and knowledge. Incorporating research writing and reading in the classroom enhances students’ connection to their own learning. This he said while addressing at the 2nd 2 day International Conference on Computer and Information Science – 2018 at PAF KIET Institute here today.

The Minister Information Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has further said that computer science in an exciting, fast and diverse field. It pervades many areas from science to industry and plays a vital role in all aspects of society. Computer science has the dual nature of being an engineering science as well as a basic science, concerned with fundamental concepts including processes, computation, information and communication. Similarly, there are diverse areas of research, like Artificial Intelligence, Computer Architecture and Engineering, Biosystems and Computational Biology, Database management Systems, Operating Systems and Networking, Human – Computer Interaction and many more.

He satisfied that researchers from Pakistan as well as from foreign countries are attending this conference. They are contributing their share in strengthening culture of research and Development in Pakistan. We, the Government of Pakistan and Sindh Government acknowledge their resolve.

He has congratulated the faculty and Management of PAF-KIET for Organizing the Second International Conference on Computing and Information Sciences successfully especially to Chancellor PAF KIET Air Marshall Zafar Hussain, President PAF KIET Air Vice Marshall Tabrez Asif, Director Dr. Muhammad Khalid Khan, Dean Academic Dr. Manzar Mehmood, Dr. Nasir Butt, Chairman Pakistan Education Foundation Imran Naseem, Head Engineering Faculty Dr. Najeeb Jaffery, Director Colleges Engineering and Dr. Muhammad Ameen Bin Embi (Malaysia), Dr. Ibrahim (France), Dr. Tahir Riaz (Denmark), Dr. Haseena.

He also offered full support and cooperation on the behalf of the Government of Sindh that we would support any kind of the program in the field of computer and Information technology to further boost the capabilities of our youth at every level, he added.

Later the Information Minister, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah while talking to media has said that Chief Minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah deserves praises for undertaking elaborate and pragmatic measures to make PSL final matches very success, adding that credit of law and order must go to our armed forces. Addressing at an International Workshop, he said that Federal Govt did not provide a single penny to share security expenses for which it had promised to borne 50 percent. He said frustration of some Federal Ministers were palpable to see successful events of PSL matches.
