Syed Nasir Hussain Shah says people response to the appeal of Sindh Chief Minister of confining themselves to their homes is commendable, Sindh Government to work with the Centre in these testing times

Karachi, March 21, 2020 (PPI-OT): Sindh Minister for Information, Local Government, Housing and Town Planning, Religious Affairs, Forest and Wildlife Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has said the whole Sindh cabinet including the Chief Minister and his administration was with the Prime Minister in these testing times when everyone of us was desperately making efforts to limit the spread of novel Caronavirus. Provincial Minister for Information said that whatever strategy the federal government formed in its efforts of limiting this pandemic the Sindh government would follow it.

 

He said this while addressing a joint press conference of all the Information Ministers through a video link on Saturday. Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that on the directives of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari all the elected members of the Sindh cabinet had decided to leave behind the blame game as well as the politics. Provincial Minister for Information said that once we would get rid of this pandemic then we would discuss other issues. First it was imperative for us to adopt measures to stop the spread of the virus, he added.

 

Syed Nasir Hussain Shah commended the effort of Federal Minister for Information and broadcasting for forming this group to Information Ministers. The Minister said that through this group we could deliver the same message. He also said that the way the media was supporting the government in these testing times in the similar way we should also extend our support to the media houses. Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that spread of Caronavirus was our collective problem and we should sort it out together.

 

Meanwhile, Sindh Minister for Information, Local Government, Housing and Town Planning, Religious Affairs, Forest and Wildlife Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has said in order to limit the spread of novel Caronavirus the way the people of Sindh had confined to their homes on the appeal of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah was commendable. Provincial Minister for Information said that the most effective way to keep ourselves safe from getting affected by Caronavirus was caution.

 

He said that the more the people would be cautioned the more they would be successful in keeping themselves as well as others safe from getting affected by the virus. In a message on Saturday, Syed Nasir Husain Shah said that the efforts of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and his complete team were highly praiseworthy. The Minister said that the history would always remember the sincere efforts and the timely taken steps by Chief Minister Sindh against this pandemic.

 

He said that Chairman Pakistan People’s Party had already given clear directives to the Sindh government about taking every possible step to counter or limit this pandemic. Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that whatever Sindh government had done so far to limit the spread of Caronavirus in the province was being appreciated worldwide. The whole Sindh government on the directives of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was vigorously monitoring the constantly changing situation, he added.

 

Syed Nasir Husain Shah assured that every possible measure was being adopted to limit the spread of Caronavirus. Provincial Minister for Information said that the cooperation of the public with the Sindh government was exemplary. On the other hand the way the volunteers had come forward and became the helping hand of the government was also laudable, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said. The Minister also thanked all the welfare organization for their cooperation with the Sindh government. He hoped that with all these collective efforts we would get rid of this pandemic soon.
