Rawalpindi, January 24, 2023 (PPI-OT):Minister for Narcotics Control Honorable Nawabzada Shazain Bugti visited HQ ANF Rawalpindi on 23rd Jan 2023 where he was received by Director General ANF Major General Muhammad Aneeq Ur Rehman Malik, HI (M). In this regard, the Change of Command Ceremony of Director General Anti-Narcotics Force was held at HQ ANF. The ceremony was attended by ex-DG ANF, new DG ANF, all Force Commanders, officers and officials of ANF. Rawalpindi, July 29, 2022 (PPI-OT):Anti-Narcotics Force Pakistan seized 2588.145 Kg Drugs and 8.500 Kg Suspected Material worth US$ 47.539 Million internationally, arrested 74 persons including 3 women, 2 foreigners and impounded 18 vehicles while conducting 69 counter narcotics operations throughout the country. The seized drugs comprised 17.924 Kg Heroin, 2286.145 Kg Hashish, 254.400 Kg Opium, 3.432 Kg Amphetamine, 22.428 Kg Methamphetamine (Ice), 2.496 Kg Cocaine, 3340 x Ecstasy Tablets (1.32 Kg). Islamabad, November 10, 2020 (PPI-OT): Proving its commitment to eradicate drugs from our homeland, Anti-Narcotics Force Pakistan seized 1922.148 Kgs narcotics valuing US$ 67.871 Million internationally, arrested 19 culprits including 3 ladies and impounded 7 vehicles in conducting 17 counter-narcotics strikes throughout the country. The seized drugs comprised of 1782.3 Kg Hashish, 8.698 Kg Heroin, 51.600 Kg Opium, 78 Kg Amphetamine and 1.550 Kg Roche Tabs (Rivtril Clonazepam). Islamabad, September 25, 2020 (PPI-OT): President Dr. Arif Alvi chaired a meeting on drug challenges in the educational institutions of Pakistan, at Aiwan-e-Sadr, today. The meeting was briefed by the Ministry of Narcotics Control about the prevalence of drugs in the country and its adverse impact on the young generation. The Ministry highlighted the measures taken for prevention of drugs in the country.
