20 injured as coach overturns near Bhitshah

HALA:Twenty people were injured, some of them seriously, when a coach overturned near Bhitshah on Wednesday.   According to rescue sources, a fast-moving coach was on its way to Punjab from Karachi when it went out of driver’s control and overturned on the National Highway at Jara Wah stop near Bhitshah. As a result, 20 people, including women and children, suffered injuries, five of them seriously.   The injured include Amir, Yousuf, Ghafar, Kalsoom, Amina, Punhal, Sabir, Muzamil, Huma and others.   They were brought to a local hospital for treatment. Five of the critical injured were shifted to a Hyderabad hospital.

Boy bitten to death by dogs; five injured separately

HALA:A boy was bitten to death by stray dogs near Hala town and five other people, including three women, were bitten by the dogs separately near Chachro on Tuesday.   According to rescue sources, stray dogs attacked and bit boy Sajid Lakho, injuring him severely in village Ghahi Khan Lakho near Hala in Matiari district of Sindh. Villagers rushed him to a local hospital in Hala where he succumbed to his injuries.   The victim family held the local authorities responsible for the boy’s death and said that no steps had been taken by the Sindh government and its subordinated departments for killing stray despite allocation of funds for this purposes.   Meanwhile, stray dogs bit five people, including three women, in village Odani in Chachro taluka.
