(Commerce): Industrialists hail PM Imran Khan’s “Karachi Package”

Karachi:Nasim Akhtar, President of the North Karachi Association of Trade and Industry (NKATI), has hailed the Rs. 1100 billion “Karachi Package” announced by Prime Minister Imran Khan for the development of Karachi, which is the economic and financial hub of Pakistan. The industrial community expressed full confidence over PM Imran Khan and assured all possible cooperation. In a statement, NKATI President said that the announcement of this package would be important in resolving the grievances of the people of Karachi to rebuild the dilapidated infrastructure of the city and solve the problems of the masses on priority basis. (National): Industrialists calls for defering all audits for two years due to Covid

Karachi: Nasim Akhtar, president of the North Karachi Association of Trade and Industry (NKATI), has protested against harassment to industrialists by SESSI, EOBI and the Labour department in the name of audit and appeal to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to defer all audits for at least 2 years in the view of COVID-19, so that industries can be restored. In the emergency meeting at NKATI, the situation arising out of COVID-19 was discussed in detail and various issues were considered to deal with the ongoing serious crisis in the country.
