PMDU: (PMDU launches web-based access for expansion and maximum coverage of PCP)

Islamabad:Prime Minister’s Performance Delivery Unit (PMDU) has launched web-based access for the expansion and maximum coverage of Pakistan Citizen’s Portal (PCP) throughout Pakistan for the large segment of approximately 28 million citizens who are internet users but do not own a smartphone. The web-based access to PCP was inaugurated by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Overseas Pakistanis Sayed Zulfikar Bukhari, here in the Prime Minister's Office, on Wednesday. Accounts can now be registered online using any computer with an internet access; be it through net cafes, libraries, or home computers. SAPM: (Zulfi Bukhari inaugurates passport office for overseas Pakistanis)

Islamabad: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Overseas Pakistanis Sayed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari inaugurated a passport office for overseas Pakistanis here on Friday. Later talking to media persons, he expressed the government’s determination to take further steps to facilitate the overseas Pakistanis. He said a mechanism is also being evolved to resolve their land disputes forthwith. He said digitization of land record will be done in the federal capital to ensure greater transparency. He said the government is keen to provide better services to the overseas Pakistanis. Machine Readable Passport Facility will help overseas Pakistanis to apply or renew their passports, OPF membership cards and Foreign Exchange Remittance Cards.
