ISLAMABAD:Prime Minister Imran Khan has said Panama Papers exposed our ruling elites' corruption and money laundering earlier and now Broadsheet revelations have again exposed the massive scale of our ruling elites' corruption and money laundering. In a tweet on Wednesday, he said these elites cannot hide behind "victimization" card on these international revelations. He said these revelations are tip of the iceberg. The Prime Minister said we want complete transparency from Broadsheet on our elites' money laundering and on who stopped the investigations.

50 fire tenders by PM a gift to Karachiites: Sindh Governor

KARACHI:Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has said that 50 state-of-the-art fire tenders for the people of Karachi by Prime Minister Imran Khan and two water bowsers having a capacity of 18,000 liter are New Year's gifts, fulfilling another promise made by the federal government. He further said that the value of modern fire tenders and water bowsers is Rs 1.44 billion. The governor said that KMC had only 11 fire tenders in in working condition in 26 fire stations in the city at present while 33 out of 44 fire tenders are out of order, he said while addressing at a function with regard to 50 fire tenders and two bowsers for the city of Karachi. ISLAMABAD:Prime Minister Imran Khan has assigned targets to various ministries to improve governance and prioritize projects, especially rationalizing the power sector and subsidies, encouraging wealth creation, and enhancing exports.   He was speaking at the signing ceremony of agreements between the Prime Minister and federal ministries to evaluate performance of various departments and sectors in achieving targets.   He said prioritized projects will vigorously be followed and evaluated to ensure performance.
