ISLAMABAD:Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has laid foundation stone of Sheikhupura to Gujranwala two-lane road project in a ceremony held in Lahore on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that 43-km long Sheikhupura-Gujranwala two-lane road will be constructed under public-private partnership and maintenance will be the responsibility of private partners for next twenty-five years.

ISLAMABAD:Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has directed the Provincial Price Control Committee to continue administrative measures to stabilize the prices of essential commodities besides ensuring their availability to the people at fixed prices.   In a directive issued from Lahore, the Chief Minister directed to keep a vigilant eye on the hoarders and profiteers besides launching a crackdown against them.   He said action should be taken against the hoarders under the Anti-Hoarding Ordinance 2020. CM: (Govt committed to resolve problems being faced by journalist community: Buzdar)

ISLAMABAD:Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that the government is committed to resolve the problems being faced by the journalist community.   Addressing a ceremony in Lahore on Monday, he said the Punjab government has decided to provide health coverage to all citizens and set a target to ensure the provision of medical facilities across the province by the end of next year.   He said the work on the second phase of Journalist colony will be started in the near future. He said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government believes in serving the masses and not merely raising hollow slogans.

ISLAMABAD:Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has thanked the people especially citizens of Lahore for remaining indifferent to Pakistan Democratic Movement's (PDM) riotous politics. In a statement issued in Lahore on Monday, he said the corrupt elements of PDM will be held accountable and they will have to return the looted wealth of the country. ISLAMABAD:Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said the provincial government has decided to lift the ban on leasing of coal mines in the province.   He was talking to a delegation of All Pakistan Mines and Minerals Association in Lahore on Wednesday.   The Chief Minister said the Mines sector has an immense potential and we need to utilize the hidden resources for the development and prosperity of the country.

Buzdar condemns Indian shelling

LAHORE:Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has strongly condemned the incidents of unprovoked firing and shelling by the Indian army on the civilians on Line of Control (LoC).   In a statement on Saturday, Buzdar expressed a deep sense of sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of four citizens and Jawan and extended heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family members and prayed for the early recovery of the injured citizens and jawans.   The Chief Minister said that the firing and shelling of unarmed citizens is a highly condemnable and cowardly act.
