A fiveday training workshop focusing on ‘Skills Development Courses’ commenced at the University of Turbat (UoT) here on Wednesday.
Organized by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication and the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), in collaboration with UoT’s Directorate of Information Technology, the workshop seeks to bolster the technical expertise and employability of IT graduates and professionals.
Participants from the university’s student body and staff are engaging in sessions on Game Development, Mobile App Development, and MEAN/Full Stack Web Development. This initiative promises handson training aligned with industry needs, aiming to lay a solid foundation for career advancement in the tech sector.
Game Developer Mr. Muhammad Afaq Yasin Shah and Mobile Application Developer Mr. Usman Khan are leading the sessions. During the opening ceremony, Dr. Rashid Ali, Chairperson of the Computer Science Department, and Mr. Sameer Zehri, Director of the Directorate of Information Technology, welcomed the trainers and expressed appreciation for the organizers’ efforts.
They emphasized that, under Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan’s leadership, UoT is dedicated to fostering digital literacy and IT skill development among its students.
