Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori extended an invitation to Qatari investors to explore investment opportunities in Sindh, emphasizing the province’s promising economic sectors.

According to a statement issued from Governor House Sindh today, speaking at the Qatar National Day ceremony in Islamabad, the Governor acknowledged the strong and enduring bilateral relations between Pakistan and Qatar, underscoring Qatar’s unwavering support during times of need.

Governor Tessori stated, “The relationship between Pakistan and Qatar has always been robust, and Qatar has stood by us in every challenging moment.” He highlighted that Sindh’s attractive sectors, combined with a skilled and youthful workforce, make the province an ideal destination for investment. He also expressed the province’s desire to enhance trade relations with Qatar.

The governor’s speech was followed by a raffle for Qatar Airways tickets, and he personally presented a bouquet to Qatar’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Ali Bin Mubarak Al Khater, to mark the occasion.

Message on International HR Day

On the occasion of International Human Rights Day, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori reaffirmed the government’s commitment to upholding the fundamental rights of all citizens as enshrined in the Constitution of Pakistan. In his message, the Governor emphasized that protecting these rights is paramount to the development of a just and prosperous society.

He stated, “On this important day, we renew our pledge to protect the basic rights of every individual. The Constitution guarantees the fundamental rights of every citizen, and it is our duty to safeguard them.” Governor Tessori further said that ensuring the protection of marginalized communities’ rights is a cornerstone of national development, economic growth, and peace.

He concluded by stressing that a society’s prosperity and the realization of peace are achievable only when basic human rights are protected and upheld.
