Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori, in his speech on the eve of Iqbal Day, expressed that the blood of our ancestors is embedded in the freedom of our beloved homeland, and we will not shy away from any sacrifice to protect it.

Addressing the gathering at the Governor’s House, he emphasized that it was a moment of great joy for him to see so many young children in attendance, as they are the future of the nation. He highlighted that the youth had recited poetry and speeches based on the thoughts and philosophy of the “Shair-e-Mashriq,” Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal.

The Governor Sindh further stated that Dr. Allama Iqbal had envisioned Pakistan as a free and prosperous nation, a dream that was realized through the unwavering leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The leaders worked tirelessly, making enormous sacrifices, to create a homeland where all its citizens could live in freedom and sovereignty.

He drew a comparison to the plight of the Palestinian people, who are suffering under occupation, and noted that the absence of a strong military force, like Pakistan’s armed forces, leaves them vulnerable. Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori proudly stated that due to our armed forces, no enemy dares to cast an evil eye on Pakistan.

He also mentioned that while our ancestors fought for freedom from India, even today, India continuously seeks to weaken Pakistan through various means but always fails. This is because our armed forces have the complete capability to thwart every hostile plan and defend our borders.
