With the collaboration of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University Larkana and the European Union, the Islamabadbased theater group “Aman Kar” presented a theatrical performance on the theme of human rights and peace at Chandka Medical College Larkana.
The theater performance depicted a time when people lived in an environment free from religious discrimination, and later how social media was weaponized to sow seeds of hatred. Students appreciated the performance and mentioned that it provided them with both information and entertainment.
At the end of the performance, the Principal of Chandka Medical College, Professor Zameer Ahmed Soomro, and Vice Principal Dr. Fouzia Chandio presented the artists of “Aman Kar” theater with Sindhi cultural gifts.
Speaking on the occasion, Professor Zameer Ahmed Soomro said that Sindh is a land of peace and brotherhood. He highlighted the importance of theater on topics like human rights and religious harmony and thanked the “Aman Kar” theater for their collaboration.
