Theft incidents on the rise Larkana and Naundero

LARKANA:Thieves in Larkana, Naundero and their surrounding areas have become very active once again as five shopkeepers lost their cash in Larkana and others in Naundero as locks of their shops were broken by the criminals.

According to details, Shaman Oad, owner of Mehran Communications shop told newsmen on Saturday that he was deprived of one lac rupees cash kept in his shop which he came to know when he opened the shop in the morning and found the shop’s locks broken.

Imtiaz Kalhoro of Aijaz Kiryana Store said that Rs60,000 cash was stolen from his shop by breaking locks of the shop. Gulzar Chandio of Al-Madina Communication said that more than Rs50,000 worth items have been stolen from his shop. Khadim Hussain Soomro of the photocopy shop claimed that the locks of his shop were broken by the thieves but they could not find any worthwhile item to steal. All these thefts occurred within the limits of Civil Lines police station of Larkana within one night.

They said that they informed the cops but they did nothing except to enquire about the details. In Naundero as well, thefts have also become very common as locks of several shops have been broken over the past week, owners have been deprived of valuable things and the cops posted have so far done nothing either to recover the stolen goods or to arrest the accused.
