Thieves gunshots claim life of innocent labourer in Naundero

NAUNDERO:The laborer died due to cardiac arrest after he heard gun fire when armed thieves tried to enter his house forcibly here last midnight which also exposed the worst working of local police.

According to details, six armed thieves tried to enter the house of laborer Ghulam Sarwar Mirani by cutting his wall when the inmates suddenly woke up.

The inmates started checking their home and found six armed men trying to enter their home. On seeing the owners, thieves started firing in the air which created lot of panic in the locality.

On hearing, the gunshots voice, Sarwar felt pain in the chest and instantly collapsed. His son Rustom Mirani told newsmen that he rushed him to local Rural Health Centre where duty doctor told him that his father had died of heart attack due to hearing gunshots.

On hearing the sad news, police reached the spot and started following footprints in the morning today with the help of sniffing dogs which led to the house of one Mahboob Narejo, a resident of Phulpota village. Police arrested him. SHO Talib Junejo said that one of the accused had been arrested with the help of sniffing dogs and soon others will be nabbed. He said that heirs of Sarwar Mirani had not yet reached to register FIR.
