BADIN:The Badin police on Monday claimed to have arrested three drug dealers and recovered 53 kg hashish from their possession.
According to reports, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shabir Ahmed Sethar after taking notice of complaints of drug trafficking in Badin district, during a search of a suspicious car on Jhudo road, an accused, Ghulam Mujtaba Gorrar was arrested and police seized 51 kg of hashish from his car while police also intercepted a motorcycle and recovered 2kg hashish from accused identified as Qurban and Hanif Khoso. A case has been registered against the arrested accused on the complaint of ASI Siddique Dal.
According to SSP Shabir Ahmed Sethar, during a targeted operation against drug dealers in different parts of the country during the last two days, 23 suspects including a woman were arrested and after receiving drugs worth millions of rupees, they were sent to jail.
