QUETTA:Three children were killed while two other children injured when a toy bomb went off in Killi Badizai area of Khorotabad on Thursday.
According to police, the incident occurred in Killi Lala Khan Badizai area within the precincts of Kharotabad Police Station, Quetta as where the children had found toy like device near their house in Killi Badizai area of Quetta and were playing with it when it exploded.
As a result, three children namely Shaista Khan, 13, Adnan 15 and Ikram 18 were killed while Ehsanullah, 11 and Ezatullah, 10, sustained injuries. The bodies and injured were shifted to Bolan Medical Complex Hospital, Quetta. The bodies were handed over to the heirs after fulfilling necessary medico-legal formalities while the injured were being treated. Further investigation was being conducted by the concerned police.
